Kippa‑Ring clinic is located on the Redcliffe Peninsula. It has recently been renovated and expanded from 4 to 6 consult rooms, offering a large prep/surgical area, generous consult rooms and dedicated spaces including X‑ray, ultrasound, isolation and separate cat kennels. Diagnostics are a key focus, with in‑house bloods, digital X‑ray and newer ultrasound to allow proper case workups.
You will join a friendly, collaborative crew with a mix of clinical interests across the veterinary team, including sonography, internal medicine and feline‑focused work. Mentoring and training are integral to our day‑to‑day routine, and strong nursing support is available across floor, surgery and reception.
Many vets work a four‑day week with longer shifts. Weekend work is typically balanced with an RDO, and evening finishes can run later, usually around 6:30–7:30 pm. You will need to be comfortable with this mix of shifts.
Approximately a 10‑minute walk from Kippa‑Ring train station with nearby bus connections. The Redcliffe waterfront is only about a 10‑minute drive away for a quick coffee run or post‑shift reset.
An eager Vet Associate who enjoys small animal general practice, values teamwork and is keen to build confidence and capability. Experience is welcomed, but a positive attitude and coachability are equally important.
