Responsibilities
- Advocacy and report‑writing in support of local human rights organisations.
- Organisational development activities with frontline partners.
- Documentation of human rights abuses and direct support to victims of abuse.
- Support women’s rights initiatives, including programmes that prevent gender‑based violence.
Working Conditions
Placements are Monday to Friday with flexibility for full‑ or part‑time work. Occasional weekend volunteering may be required for special events or projects. The volunteer will receive a private room with a host family or accommodation in a hotel, depending on availability.
Language and Immersion
25 Spanish lessons are offered prior to departure, and additional Spanish tutoring is available during the stay.
Compensation and Logistics
- Cost: 1000 per week, with a minimum 2‑week booking.
- Included: private accommodation (subject to availability), all meals, airport pickup and transfer to the project site, project‑related activities and premium 24/7 support.
- Excluded: flights, visas (if applicable), vaccinations, travel insurance, personal spending and any extra activities.
