Job Overview
Kitchen Centre, a leader in joinery and cabinetry for over 35 years, is seeking a dedicated Truck/Delivery Driver to transport and deliver joinery across northern Tasmania (and occasionally to the south). The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Competitive wage package included.
Responsibilities
- Accurately load joinery, appliances and benchtops onto trucks.
- Safely unload items by hand on site.
- Manage time efficiently to keep to delivery schedules.
- Ensure all loads are correctly packed and secured.
- Maintain excellent communication with the scheduler and other team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of medium‑rigid (MR) truck driving experience.
- Valid MR licence at time of application; forklift ticket and White Card may be obtained during hiring.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Results‑oriented with excellent customer service skills.
- Clear and open communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, neat, and well‑presented with a strong safety focus.
- Experience in cabinetry/furniture removal is a bonus.
- Valid work authorisation in Australia (or obtainable).
Work Details
Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Competitive wage package. Early mornings and flexibility required for delivery demands.
