We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Carole Park, QLD.
In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products across all market segments (predominantly automotive) in a service workshop under supervision.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
- Diagnose and repair engines
- Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incident to supervisor
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)
- Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential
- Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
- Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues/incident to shift supervisors
