Mossman is located 77 kilometres north of Cairns and 17 kilometres north of Port Douglas, Mossman itself is a small township and the majority of students come to the school by bus from the surrounding districts. The enrolment is approximately 660 students with 56 teachers on staff and 40 support staff.
