Join Our Team as a Compassionate Home Care Worker!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of Home Care Workers in the Northern, Southern, Eastern & Western metropolitan Melbourne, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional home care services to elderly clients within their residences.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in their mobility and daily living activities.
- Assist with medications according to clients’ prescribed schedules.
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Undertake housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
- Offer social support and transportation assistance for medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Requirements
- Certification in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field is desired. (If you do not have a certificate, home help, cleaning and housekeeping duties will be assigned).
- Medication Assistance/Prompting certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
- Possess a valid Victorian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- A valid and transparent National Police Check.
- Hold a CPR and First Aid certificate (Level 2).
- Display compassion, patience, and understanding towards clients.
