Summary

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable female Support Worker who speaks Italian or Spanish to provide in‑home assistance and companionship to a client in Merrylands. This role is essential in supporting the client’s independence, wellbeing, and daily living needs in a respectful and person‑centred manner. The position offers adaptable, ongoing shifts that contribute to meaningful work within the local community.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to the client in their home.
• Assist with daily living activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance the client’s quality of life.
• Maintain a respectful and supportive setting tailored to the client’s needs.
• Document and report any changes in the client’s condition or needs to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Italian or Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or community care preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach to care.
• Ability to provide personal care and companionship support.
• Valid driver’s licence preferred but not essential depending on travel arrangements.
