Custom Quip Engineering Pty Ltd (CQE) is a well-established Western Australian founded business with over two decades of experience specialising in the design and manufacture of quality transport equipment.
CQE seek a motivated team player to join the team as Senior Store Person, at our centrally located, purpose-built facility in Kenwick W.A.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Attend to the tradesperson service counter, interpreting and supplying required parts.
Process goods inwards and outwards to ensure accuracy and efficiency — including both physical handling and administrative tasks.
Perform inventory management functions to maintain accurate stock control — software-based and physical.
Load and unload delivery vehicles, ranging from small boxes to palletised goods.
Carry out picking and packing duties — from light component kitting to production pallet crates.
Lead the stores team and associated functions (small team of 2–3).
Undertake tasks reasonably expected within the scope of the role and assist with other duties as required.
Skills and Experience Required
Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
Be a motivated and dedicated worker that strives for best performance outcomes.
Good knowledge of general mechanical componentry i.e. nuts/bolts, fittings etc, and the ability to learn mechanical componentry interpretation.
Previous experience working within a store or workshop environment, including use of store/parts management software – experience with Epicore software is an advantage.
General experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, where required.
Out of the box thinker with the ability to learn and develop new skills.
Contribute to a healthy, safe and “can do” work environment.
Must have forklift license and C class drivers license.
