DCW Enterprises trading as Rural Fencing Supplies / GateMaster Australia is looking for a full-time front-line counter salesperson to help facilitate and share our business goals. This role will be based at 2 Davison Street Maddington WA 6109.
DCW is a major supplier to the rural sector, commercial, industrial, and residential areas of WA, offering farm gates, livestock fencing, security fencing, irrigation, gate automation and more. Our business supports 10 staff members, who are all loyal and dedicated to their position and work together collaboratively.
Position
- Customer service, invoicing and sales
- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised sales counter and showroom
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder or restock merchandise as required
- Collaborate with all other departments and team members
- Give clear direction to warehouse staff for order picking
- Assist and maintain the website – online sales orders and packaging
The office responsibilities will be shared between you and the other sales ladies, who receive unconditional support from the operations manager and other staff members.

- Able to work in a close team environment and independently at times
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Someone who wishes to re‑enter the workforce is encouraged to apply
- Must be able to maintain good time management and self‑discipline skills
- Can maintain a balance between work and home
- Xero software accounting system an advantage but not a necessity
- Analytical and provide positive solutions
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 / 8:00 to 4:00 / 4:30. The business would like your flexibility to cover a Saturday morning 8:00 to 1:00, if needed from time to time.
Remuneration
- Fixed pay rate on the 40 hours along with a fixed rate for any overtime incurred, paid weekly into your nominated account
- 12% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave

- 5% pay increase after the probation period of 3 months – this period allows both parties to see if they are compatible with working alongside one another
