Reaper Performance Diesel is Perth’s leading diesel performance workshop. We are always pushing the boundary of what can be done with diesel powered vehicles. We work with the best in the industry world-wide: Locally with the likes of Manta Performance Exhausts, NPC Performance clutches, PDI Intercoolers, PWR Performance Products, Fatz Fabrication, Superior Engineering. Internationally with the likes of S&S Diesel, Hardway Performance, Wagler, Garrett Turbochargers and Harts Turbochargers and Nitrous Outlet. The core of the business is modifying late model diesel vehicles, with a focus on Toyota’s and Isuzu’s, but anything commonrail can be expected. We also build and own racecars and tough streetcars and we are all heavily interested in motorsports of some sort.
Qualifications & experience
Must have the ability to learn quickly and receive guidance from lesser qualified and younger mechanics.
Be skilled in using and understanding diagnostic tooling and diagnostic data.
You must be able to work in a team environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Performing Clutch, exhaust, intercooler, airbox, snorkel and injector upgrades on late model commonrail diesel vehicles.
- Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing modified late model commonrail diesel vehicles.
- Guiding apprentices as they undertake basic servicing and repairs.
- Wiring items such as UNICHIP, ECU=SHOP modules, converter lock up kits, intercooler fan kits, gauges.
- Perform turbo upgrades – direct fit as well as Turbo conversions to aftermarket items such as Garrett/F55 etc.
- Performing valvebody upgrades, building upgraded injectors, stroker commonrail fuel pumps.
- Performing intake cleans on late model commonrail diesel vehicles.
- Training can be provided for all aspects of work completed. As this is a specialised field, it is not expected that applicants will have complete experience in our specific field. Remuneration will reflect skill levels and will be reviewed as skills and understanding improve.
- Working with some of the best in their field in WA’s Industry leading performance diesel workshop. fabrication, tuning, performance mechanical etc.
- With multiple drag cars in the stable, there is always opportunity to be involved with racing.
