Restoring Families Program | Goulburn
OzChild is a leading child and family services organisation committed to strengthening families and keeping children safe, supported, and safely at home wherever possible.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Psychiatrist to join our Restoring Families MST-CAN® team based in Goulburn.
About the Program
Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN®) is an intensive, evidence-based program designed to support families where children and young people are at imminent risk of entering out-of-home care due to abuse and neglect.
MST-CAN® works with children and young people aged 0–17 years and their families to improve safety, strengthen family functioning, reduce mental health concerns, and build sustainable long-term supports.
About the Role
The MST-CAN® Psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment, consultation, treatment planning, and psychopharmacological support to children, young people, and caregivers engaged in the program.
Working collaboratively within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, the Psychiatrist will support complex clinical presentations and contribute to evidence-based interventions aimed at keeping children safely at home.
Services may be delivered within the home, community, office environment, and/or via tele-psychiatry depending on family and program needs.
This flexible role is approximately 4 hours per week across up to 4 days.
