JLE Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Hire division. Based in Newcastle, this role offers the opportunity to support quality standards across high-volume electrical equipment production and major project delivery.
About The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating workflow between JLE stakeholders and clients, supporting Project Managers with day‑to‑day project requirements, working with office administration staff, and ensuring efficient and effective outcomes aligned with JLE processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Downloading Project Information when required.
- Keeping Project drawings folders up to date and Project files.
- Drawing comparisons from IFT to IFC.
- Drawing mark ups as required.
- Keeping up to date document transmittal.
- Delivering project procurement as directed by project manager or as required within their DOA.
- Document control and Project QA.
- Following up project information when requested.
- Providing support to admin when required with project information & document control.
- Providing detailed & quality information regarding the projects works.
- Aiding project support and project managers in compiling required paperwork for project handover manuals/dossiers.
- Providing support with project submissions to estimators, project managers & managers when required.
- Being accountable for finalisation of tasks by yourself.
