Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)
Azura Fresh is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure our products are manufactured safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment and enjoys leading people.
As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee the production process from start to finish, ensuring all products meet Azura Fresh standards. You will work closely with the Prep Team, Warehouse Team, and Cleaning Team to maintain smooth operations and support continuous improvement.
This position involves managing a team of 30+ production staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and support production employees; monitor performance and train new staff.
- Plan and organise production rosters to maximise output and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Prep and Warehouse Teams to ensure all required ingredients and materials are available.
- Monitor production pace, quality, portion control, and labelling to maintain company standards.
- Ensure products meet order requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of QA and other required documentation.
- Ensure safe use of equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and hazards.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in food production or a similar environment.
- Valid Australian work visa or work rights are required for this position.
