Overview
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Production Engineer to join a well‑established hard‑rock gold operation in Western Australia. This permanent position offers strong exposure across drill & blast, scheduling, planning and production optimisation, suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work and wants stability and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop weekly mine plans, drill and blast designs and production schedules.
- Enter and validate operational data for accurate planning and reporting.
- Reconcile production performance against plans and identify improvement actions.
- Conduct stope performance reviews and optimisation work.
- Collaborate with mining crews, geology, survey and contractors to support safe execution.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly planning and reporting inputs.
Qualifications
- Strong underground mining experience (hard‑rock gold essential).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in production engineering, drill & blast and scheduling.
- Deswik experience highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
