St John Vianney Primary School, Morisset is seeking a Permanent Part Time (14 hours per week) Pastoral Care Worker to join the team.
At St John Vianney Primary School, Morisset we believe our students will best experience success through high-quality education and contemporary learning and teaching. The school is well‑equipped with modern facilities and innovative technology to maximise learning opportunities for students, including SmartBoards, a bank of computers in the new library, an excellent school hall, attractive school grounds, an outdoor amphitheatre, environmental areas, play equipment and collaborative learning spaces.
Pastoral care is defined in the Project Agreement with the Commonwealth Government as the practice of looking after the personal needs of students, not just their academic needs, through the provision of general spiritual and personal advice.

The role of the pastoral care worker will vary depending on the needs of the individual schools and their communities. Schools are encouraged to shape the role of the position according to local needs and the capacities of the incumbent.
Salary is in accordance with Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020.
