Provide diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services; including but not limited to:
Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standards
Request required spare parts
Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
Diagnose and rectify minor electrical faults
Repair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new parts
Lubricate plant and equipment
Running adjustments to mechanical equipment
Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the Product Support process
Maintain effective relationships with customers
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any customer/site specific documentation required
Provide on-the-job training as required
Personal health and safety performance and behaviour and ensure your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures
Alert the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and services
Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisations policies and processes
Other duties as directed

Essential

Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology
Able to work in remote locations and under adverse conditions
