Due to continued operational growth and workforce demand, Silverstone is seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators for full-time mining roles with consistent rosters across Pilbara projects to support ongoing mining production and earthmoving operations.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Operating articulated dump trucks, haul trucks, rollers, water carts and other mobile plant equipment;
- Transporting ore, materials and equipment across mining production areas;
- Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment safety checks;
- Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or hazards;
- Operating machinery safely in accordance with mine site procedures and safety standards;
- Assisting with mine production activities and operational support requirements;
- Maintaining operational records and complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant operating experience;
- Valid driver’s licence and/or relevant operating tickets/licences;
- National Police Clearance;
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening;
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
