We are seeking dedicated and skilled tutors to join our team as independent contractors and help students reach their full potential.
Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to provide one-on-one, in-person math tutoring sessions at students’ homes in the Eastern Suburbs. While the role is primarily face-to-face, occasional remote sessions may be offered if requested. You’ll be responsible for assessing student needs, preparing personalised lesson plans, and tracking academic progress.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home tutoring sessions in math for students from primary school through HSC.
- Tailor lessons to match each student’s level, needs, and learning style.
- Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to parents.
- Maintain an adaptable schedule for after-school or weekend sessions.
- Create a positive and engaging learning setting.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of the NSW math curriculum (Primary, High School, and HSC).
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly regarded.
- Clear communication skills and a passion for education.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own schedule.
- Must be available for in-person sessions at student homes in the Eastern Suburbs.
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
