Job Title: Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing

Roster: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + super
Acommodation: FREE accommodation provided when you are working the 7 days on shift only
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing facility in regional Victoria. This role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, providing an excellent work‑life balance while working within a modern production environment. During your 7‑day shift block, accommodation will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates based in Melbourne or other locations who are open to working regionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiency
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety and OH&S standards
About You
- Trade qualified Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter
- Strong troubleshooting and fault finding skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
