Responsibilities
- Assist employees who are cooking and preparing food
- Assemble ingredients for salads and other non-cooked menu items as required
- Assist as required in undertaking general pantry duties
- Participate as part of a team providing services to patrons to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Follow directions of management during shifts
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment is maintained
- Other duties as required to effectively manage the hotel and provide an exceptional customer experience, or as directed by management
Qualifications
- If you are a can-do person who thrives on new challenges, likes working in a team within a diverse workplace, and consistently delivers to the highest quality, then you may fit well on our team
- Team player and able to work autonomously; ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and skilled manner
- Experience in hospitality and kitchens is preferred but not essential
- Motivated to complete work to the highest quality and deliver great service delivery
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a calm and methodical manner
- A quick and hands-on learner with a positive attitude toward work
