Ora No. 1 Salon is seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdresser to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of hairdressing services while maintaining high standards of customer service and salon presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm and manage daily bookings, including preparation of required products and service schedules
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments
- Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, perming, styling, blow-drying, shampooing, and conditioning
- Advise clients on hair care products and ongoing hair maintenance
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work environment
- Liaise effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Follow workplace policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Support and collaborate with other team members as required
- Recommend additional salon services where appropriate
- Assist in training junior staff or apprentices
Requirements
- Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent), or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar role
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
