Kangaroo Gully Bush Fire Brigade – Kangaroo Gully WA
Responsibilities
Volunteer firefighters are trained and equipped to carry out a range of activities, including:
- Emergency response to bush and scrub fires
- Undertaking local fire prevention activities with the community
- Supporting other emergency service agencies as required
- Community education and engagement

Role Details
Category: Emergency Response
Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months
Type of Work: Safety & Emergency Services
Time Required:
- 1–2 training sessions per month during the season.
- Occasional weekend training exercises throughout the year when available.
- Attend emergency callouts when available.
Training:
- All training and personal protective clothing & equipment is provided.
- New members are required to complete basic training prior to attending incidents.
