Measuring and cutting fabric to specification
Reading and interpreting cutting sheets and patterns
Assisting with basic pattern making and layout planning
Handling and moving large rolls of fabric
Quality checking fabric before and after cutting
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Supporting our sewing and production team as required
Ironing and preparing fabric as part of the production process
About You
High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Basic pattern making skills or experience working from patterns
Physically capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy fabric rolls
Able to work independently and efficiently
Reliable, punctual and organised
Previous experience in textiles, upholstery, soft furnishings, fashion, manufacturing or production is highly regarded
Minimum 1+ years fabric cutting experience required
Must have Australian work rights or valid work visa
