Qualifications & experience
- Australian Certified Level III Mechanical Trade or equivalent, Australian recognised.
- Minimum of 3 years fitting experience.
- A valid HRW (LF Forklift) license would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in agricultural equipment manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
- You must be able to pass a pre‑employment medical with a drug & alcohol screener.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Interpret & fit/assemble equipment according to drawings and schematics.
- Experience with & understanding of hydraulic systems is required to effectively work with hydraulic fittings and components.
- Ability to meet deadlines and assist, motivate and mentor the team to meet workshop goals.
- Undertake and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist leading hands with resource planning and training.
- Work towards team goals and deadlines without compromising quality assurance and safety.
- Monitor quality assurance and safety.
