About the Employment Register

Applications are invited from Enrolled Nurses interested in being considered for fixed‑term full‑time, part‑time or casual employment periods up to 12 months within community settings in the South and North West Tasmania.

Eligibility Requirements

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board‑approved qualification in administration of medicines).
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Pre‑employment Checks

• Conviction check for crimes of violence, sex‑related offences, serious drug offences, and crimes involving dishonesty.
• Identification check.
• Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
• As required by CHSP, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.

Please note: For some roles you may be required to hold a current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration. You will be notified if you are required to obtain this prior to commencing employment.

This register will remain open until 30 June 2024 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
