About The Service
Our beautiful, exceeding service, Nido Woodend, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families. Rated Exceeding! Purpose built 82 place service. The service caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 4 rooms and 3 beautiful recent outdoor yards. Weekly Bush Kinder and fortnightly excursions to Bupa Aged Care for our 3 & 4 yr olds. 15 min walk to local transport. Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child’s development and fostering a sense of active participation. Supportive team to help guide you through your career.

About You
- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (essential)
- Must be available to work on a rotating roster
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning programs
- Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child’s individual needs and interests
- Have strong communication and time‑management skills
- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
Responsibilities
- Deliver contemporary educational practices based on Reggio Emilia philosophy.
- Provide quality early education and care for children from 6 weeks to five years old.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning programs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child’s individual needs and interests.
