We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to ensure the provision of a high-quality, innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of children aged 3-5 at Audrey Brooks Memorial Pre-School, Bellfield.
This role is 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll help shape meaningful early learning experiences for children from three to five years through a high-quality, play-based program tailored to each child. What You Will Do
- Work alongside the 4-year-old teaching team to deliver a high-quality, play-based kindergarten program that supports every child to thrive.
- Build warm, respectful and trusting relationships with children, promoting their learning, wellbeing and development through intentional, engaging practice.
- Partner with families through open communication and inclusive practice, creating a welcoming kindergarten community where everyone feels connected and supported.
What You’ll Bring/what We Are Looking For
- Early Childhood Qualification as recognised under Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 – Diploma.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
- Current, recognised Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, with CPR updates completed in the last 12 months.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mandatory Reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development theories.
- Ability to maintain records and write reports relating to program goals and child development.
Pre-employment Requirements
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Medical Check
- CPR / Level 2 First Aid
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)
- Current Working with Children’s Check
We Offer
- A Permanent, part time role (17 hours per week – Wednesdays & Fridays)
- $27.14 per hour/salary range $24,075 to $24,803 per annum plus super (dependent on experience). For comparison at full time, this is equivalent to $53,815 to $55,442 per annum.
