Overview
The Shire of Coorow is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Service Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time position. This role is based in Coorow and the ideal candidate enjoys working with people, providing high-quality customer service, and supporting day-to-day administrative operations.
Role
As the Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and community members, assisting with enquiries, administration, bookings, and general support services including Driver and Vehicle Licensing.
Key Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and professionalism.
- Previous customer service or administrative experience.
Compensation
This position is offered under the Local Government Officers (WA) Award 2020 as a level 4 at $30.93 per hour, with generous Superannuation benefits.
Other Requirements
Applicants must hold and maintain a current WA C Class driver’s license. A pre-placement medical and police clearance will be required before commencement, and a three-month probationary period will apply.
