About the role
Provide mental health support to clients through assessment, counselling and case management. Work within a multidisciplinary team and report to a senior leader while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
- Deliver evidence-based counselling and risk assessment
- Develop care plans and maintain client records
- Review progress and adjust treatment plans
- Liaise with families and external providers
- Attend case reviews and clinical supervision
Qualifications
- Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
- Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) on commencement, OR
- A Masters-level counselling qualification and registration with PACFA as a Registered Clinical Counsellor or with ACA at Level 3 or Level 4.
Skills & experience
- AHPRA registration or AASW / PACFA / ACA membership
- Experience in trauma-informed client care
- Strong assessment and risk management capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage complex client needs
