Assistant Venue Manager - Miss Pearl at Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank

• Salary package at $85,000 plus super per year

• Lead a team of waiters, hosts and baristas
• Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests
• Ordering and stocktake
• Roster staff and complete time sheet approvals
• Daily troubleshooting
• Develop and train new and existing team members
• Manage and oversee a successful café and a range of functions and events on-site
• Rotating roster over 6 days - Monday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday
• Provide occasional support at ACMI and oversee venue operations when the Venue Manager is on leave.

• Minimum 2 year in assistant management/ supervisory experience in a busy fast paced venue.
• Strong hands-on floor management experience, ideally within a premium à la carte restaurant.
• Confident learning and using POS systems, reservation systems and online ordering platforms
• Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
• A passion for the hospitality industry
• Valid VIC RSA and bar/beverage knowledge
